Parent-Child Relational Problem

A parent-child relational problem is a clinically significant behavioral and/or psychological struggle that occurs between a parent and their child, which involves persistent and painful patterns of feelings, behaviors, and perceptions within the parent-child relationship.  It typically involves difficulties with the parent and child experiencing intersubjectivity and co-regulation.  Dr. Zand works with both young children and adult children to improve their relationships with their parent(s).

You are not alone.

At Midwest Psychological Services we regularly see parents with their children to strengthen their relationship.
