Heading 1

As a small local business, we are able to provide more personalized services to your child and family.  Assessments and therapies are  conducted by doctoral level psychologists.    Our parenting services are provided by trained practitioners.  Please compare our prices to other practices;  you will see that our services are competitively priced and likely more affordable.

How Does It Work?

Payment for your first appointment and subsequent therapy and/or parenting services is due at the time of the appointment.

For assessments, half of the payment is due at the time of psychological testing.  The remaining half of the payment is due at the time of the feedback session.

Accepted Forms of Payment Include: American Express, Cash, Check, Discover, Mastercard, Visa,  HSA, Debit Cards

Please note that we are an out of network provider.   We will provide you with a super bill, which you can submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement.   Please check with your insurance carrier about this benefit.

What About Insurance?

Should you choose to use insurance you may wish to consider the following:

  • For payments to be made, insurance companies require your child to receive a mental health diagnosis.  Many parents seek treatment before their child’s issue meets criteria for a mental health disorder

  • Filing insurance claims for mental health services may affect your ability to purchase medical, life, or disability insurance currently or in the future

  • Confidentiality is limited due to your insurance company having access to  copies of your child's record

  • To contain costs, every insurance plan has different requirements and standards for authorizations.  Some may deny therapy in lieu of your child taking prescription medications

  • Insurance does not pay for specialized mental health interventions, including parenting services

  • Insurance companies require pre-approvals for each individual test to be administered, prior to our starting testing.  Additionally, they do not pay for certain types of testing, including academic achievement testing, which is a central part of  many of our assessments

  • We tailor our assessments to your concerns, so we may change our test battery after we start working with and getting to know your child, rather than administering the same tests to each client.  Our personalized  approach does not always fit with the insurance pre-approval process
