Heading 1
As a small local business, we are able to provide more personalized services to your child and family. Assessments and therapies are conducted by doctoral level psychologists. Our parenting services are provided by trained practitioners.
How Does It Work?
Payment for your first appointment and subsequent therapy and/or parenting services is due at the time of the appointment.
For assessments, payment is due at the time of psychological testing.
Accepted Forms of Payment Include: American Express, Cash, Check, Discover, Mastercard, Visa, HSA, Debit Cards
Please note that we are an out of network provider. At your request, we will provide you with a super bill, which you can submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. Please check with your insurance carrier about this benefit.

Why Don't We Take Insurance?
-
For payments to be made, insurance companies require your child to receive a mental health diagnosis. Many parents seek treatment before their child’s issue meets criteria for a mental health disorder.
-
Confidentiality is limited due to your insurance company having access to copies of your child's record.
-
Insurance does not pay for specialized mental health interventions, including parenting services.
-
Insurance companies require pre-approvals for each individual test to be administered, prior to our starting testing. Additionally, they do not pay for certain types of testing, including academic achievement testing, which is a central part of many of our assessments.
-
We tailor our assessments to your concerns, so we may change our test battery after we start working with and getting to know your child, rather than administering the same tests to each client. Our personalized approach does not always fit with the insurance pre-approval process.
