Meet the Team
Dr. Zand received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology in 1997, and has been licensed in Missouri since 2000. For 24 years she worked in academic medicine where she taught pediatric residents, psychology graduate students, counselors, and social workers; conducted research on parenting resilience; and maintained a child and family mental health practice. Dr. Zand has particular expertise in conducting comprehensive Developmental, Autism, Adoption, Attachment, Learning, and ADHD assessments. She uses an integrative, playful approach to conducting therapy, and is a certified provider of Autplay, Theraplay, Partners in Parenting Education (PIPE), and the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P). Dr. Zand has obtained Level I and Level II training in Dyadic Developmental Therapy. She has completed clinical and research training on the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), as well as specialized training in conducting attachment evaluations.
Kathy Pierce, PhD

Dr. Pierce received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology in 1999. She has been conducting psychological testing for 20+ years. Dr. Pierce obtained post-graduate training on administering, scoring, and interpreting neuropsychological testing. She has specialized training on administering multiple assessments including, but not limited to: the Mullen Scales of Early Learning, the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children V, the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Adults-IV, the Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale IV, the Leiter-3, the NEPSY-II, the WRAML-3, the Delis-Kaplan Executive Function System, the Tests of Variable Attention, the Wechsler Individual Achievement Test IV, the CELF-5, the Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales-3, the Sensory Profiles, and many more, Dr. Pierce is a certified provider of the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P). She is also trained in the Nurturing Parenting Program (no certification required) and Collaborative & Proactive Solutions.
Donna McNamara

Mrs. McNamara has 10+ years of experience working with parents. She is certified in the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P), Partners in Parenting Education (PIPE), and Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS). She is also trained in the Positive Adult Development (PAD) curriculum (no certification required), Nurturing Parenting Program (NPP) (no certification required), and the Incredible Years. Ms. McNamara is our care coordinator. She will help guide you through the process and is available 7 days per week to schedule an appointment.
