Your first appointment will focus on discussing your initial needs, concerns, and expectations. Dr. Zand will collect relevant background information, review all records, conduct a mental status exam, engage in an interactive observation, and ask you to complete some forms. She will then develop with you a personalized plan.
Our doctoral level psychologists conduct individualized, trauma-informed, comprehensive psychological evaluations that include tailored recommendations. We routinely assess for Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attachment, Developmental Delays, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Learning Disorders, Intellectual Giftedness, and Social/ Emotional/Behavioral difficulties. We have particular expertise in differential diagnosis and parent - child relationship evaluations. We individualize our assessments to your concerns, so we may change our test battery after we start working with you, rather than administering the same tests to each client.
We are accredited in a variety of evidence-based parenting programs to help you manage unwanted behaviors, set rules, encourage behaviors you like, and take care of yourself. We offer the following programs: Positive Adult Development, Triple P, Partners in Parenting Education, Nurturing Parenting, and Collaborative & Proactive Solutions.
