Your first appointment will focus on discussing your initial needs, concerns, and expectations.  Dr. Zand will collect relevant background information, review all records, conduct a mental status exam on your child,  engage in an interactive observation of your child, and ask you to complete some forms.  She will then develop with you a personalized plan.
Our doctoral level psychologists conduct individualized, trauma-informed, comprehensive psychological evaluations that include tailored recommendations to support your child's social, emotional, and behavioral development.   We routinely assess for Autism Spectrum Disorders,  Attachment,  Developmental Delays, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Learning Disorders,  Intellectual Giftedness, and Social/ Emotional/Behavioral difficulties.  We have particular expertise in differential diagnosis and pre-adoption evaluations.
