Dr. Zand 0btained her Ph.D. in clinical psychology in 1997, and has been licensed in Missouri since 2000. For 24 years she worked in academic medicine where she instructed pediatric residents, psychology graduate students, therapists, and social workers; conducted research on parenting resilience; and maintained a mental health practice. Dr. Zand has particular expertise in conducting comprehensive Developmental, Autism, ADHD, Adoption, Attachment, and Learning assessments.  Dr. Zand utilizes an integrative, playful approach to conducting therapy.  She is an accredited provider of Autplay, Theraplay, Partners in Parenting Education (PIPE), and the Positive Parenting Program (Triple-P).  Dr. Zand has also  acquired Level I and also Level II training in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, as well as training in Internal Family Systems Therapy.  She has completed clinical and research training on the Autism Diagnostic Observation  Schedule, and has specialized training in conducting attachment evaluations.
