Dr. Zand's 25+ years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families allows her to offer meaningful psychological insight in legal situations where family dynamics, emotional functioning, and/or behavioral concerns may be relevant. Specifically, she assists individuals within the legal system with understanding complex psychological issues that affect children and their parents, which may be beyond the knowledge of an average person.

Dr. Zand interacts with clients in an empathic and curious manner. She maintains clear and consistent boundaries across clients and settings, and facilitates emotional regulation in high conflict situations through the use of both verbal and nonverbal attunement, active listening, verbal reflection, and working towards mutually acceptable solutions.
Dr. Zand charges $400 per hour, billed in 15 minute increments for consultation with lawyers. Depositions and court appearances are charged a flat rate of $3200 per day. These fees are independent of fees incurred by clients for intakes, psychotherapy, and/or assessments.
Each case is evaluated thoughtfully to ensure that the information provided remains accurate, professional, and within the scope of psychological expertise.
